Olivier Salad

"When making Olivier salad, all ingredients are cut into cubes. Except peas."

Ingredients:

 salt   to taste
 Dijon mustard   1 tablespoon
 eggs   5
 mayonnaise   3 tablespoons
 potatoes   2 large
 pepper   to taste
 can of peas and carrots   1 (14.5 oz)
 can of sweet peas   1 (15 oz)
 cooked ham or chicken   8 oz
 shallot   1
 dill pickle   1 large

1. Boil and dice potatoes and carrot.

2. Hard-boil, cool peel and chop eggs.

3. Dice cooked ham or chicken.

4. Peel and chop shallot.

5. Chop dill pickle.

6. Drain peas and carrots and sweet peas.

7. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, carrots, peas, ham or chicken, chopped eggs, pickles, mayonnaise and mustard; seasons with salt and pepper; gently toss.
