Caviar sandwiches

"Caviar is to dining what a sable coat is to a girl in evening dress." Ludwig Bemelmans

Ingredients:

 butter   1-2 tablespoons
 your preferred bread (white, wheat, or rye)   8 slices
 high-quality caviar (such as sturgeon or salmon caviar)   2-4 ounces

Take a slice of bread and spread a butter on one side. Add a dollop of caviar on top of the creamy spread, spreading it evenly.
