Gravlax sandwich

This sandwich is simple yet full of rich flavors!

Ingredients:

 salt   to taste
 capers   optional
 fresh dill   optional
 pepper   to taste
 ciabatta bread   2 slices
 gravlax (cured salmon)   4 oz
 cream cheese (softened)   4 oz
 lemon wedges   for garnish

1. Slice your ciabatta bread and lightly toast both slices for a crispy texture.

2. After toasting, spread a generous layer of softened cream cheese on each slice.

3. Layer slices of gravlax over the cream cheese.

4. Sprinkle with capers for a touch of brininess (optional).

5. Add fresh dill for an herbal note.

6. Lightly season with salt and pepper as needed.

7. Serve with a lemon wedge for an optional squeeze of citrus.
